#italycomestoyou again...with a quick Easter sweet fix. We created a short, downloadable recipe card with three of our favourite Tuscan desserts. Get everyone involved – these classic sweet treats are as fun to make, as to eat. 

This Saturday, April 11th (5 pm Italy / 4 pm UK / 11 am EST), our resident chef at Villa d’Elsa will run a cookery demo for you live from her kitchen. Join us on Instagram Live to prepare our all-time favourite, Tiramisu. This dessert is best the day after it’s made – if it lasts that long! Prepare the dessert with us on Saturday, and enjoy it on Easter Sunday.

The ingredient list is simple. To serve 8, you will need: 

  • 500g mascarpone cheese
  • 200g whipping cream  
  • 5 eggs, room temperature
  • 8 tablespoons caster sugar 
  • Ladyfingers (Savoiardi) or Pavesini, around 30-40 biscuits
  • 1 cup of espresso or strong coffee, room temperature 
  • 100g dark chocolate 
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Liqueur, Grand Marnier, Marsala, Amaretto, dark rum, brandy or similar (optional)
